Brethren, I am looking forward to serving as your District Deputy Grand Master for this year. As you probably already know, our Grand Master, M:.W:. Jim J Harris is a firm believer in Masonic Education and Lodge Officer Training. The Lodges in District 6 traditionally have strong performances in these areas, but I hope that a great many of you qualify for your Purple Cards this year by completing the Master Mason I, II & III exams as well as completing Lodge Officer Training. Another area that will receive additional emphasis this year is the Widows Program, so expect to hear more about this from our District 6 Chairman for the Widows Program. It is my goal this year for the Lodges in District 6 to continue to perform well in all areas and for all of us to have some good fun and fellowship while performing our Masonic duties.
