Callaway Lodge was first conceived by R:.W:. Zollie W. Young, who, with Twenty-eight Brother Master Masons hailing from several Lodges far and near, met at the Callaway Community Building for the purpose of establishing a Masonic Lodge in Callaway. The meeting was conducted by R:.W:. Young assisted by The District Deputy Grand Master of the 4th Masonic District, R:.W:. Myron Clark.

A Brief History...

Callaway Lodge was set to work on July 22, 1969 under dispensation by M:.W:. Carvie B. Webb, Grand Master of Masons of the State of Florida. The District Deputy, Callaway being in the 4th Masonic District at the Time, was R:.W:. Myron Clark.


On April 30th, 1970 M:.W:. David H. Wilkerson granted the Lodge its Charter. On May 23rd of that same year, Past Grand Master G. Rodman Porter presented the Charter to the Lodge.


On January 15th, 1974 the Lodge Membership voted to be Annexed into the City of Callaway.



On April 4th, 1981 The Laying of the Cornerstone Ceremony was conducted by The Grand Master of Masons of the State of Florida, M:.W:. Pierce Blitch.
